これは、TSP（The Swinging Pig Record）の後釜メーカー、VGP（Vinyl Gang Product）のCDです。
VGPは、数多くの貴重な音源や、既発盤の改良盤など、重要なブートレグを世に送り出した、超有名メーカーです。
素晴らしいCDは数知れずありますが、高音をつり上げた、いわゆるシャリシャリ系の音が多いのが気になります。
このCDも貴重な音源として、大変ありがたいのですが、やはり音がシャリシャリ系で、初めて聞いたときは、ストレスに感じます。音量を少し下げて聴いていると、だんだん気にならなくなってきます。
聴きどころは２の、.Reelin' and Rockin' でしょう。他では聞けなかった、貴重音源です。
他にも聴きどころ満載のＣＤですが、３～１４の４月１８日、パリライブは、次に紹介する "Gathers No Moss" と同じ音源ですが、音質的には”Gathers No Moss”の方が良いです。
また、Disc-1の１５～２３は、ハワイ、ホノルルのライブで、7月29日とクレジットにはありますが、これは７月２８日の間違いです。残念ながら新音源ではありませんでした。
あとで紹介する"In Action" というCDで聴けた音源と同一音源ですが、音質はよりクリアになり、１段階上がっています。
"In Action" がvery good なら、こちらはvery good+ です。音源によって音質のばらつきはありますが、CD全体としての評価は very good です。この時期のライブとしては、決して悪い音ではありません。ブートになれた方なら、十分演奏に集中できます。
パリとホノルルは既発音源ですが、それ以外はおそらく初登場の貴重音源です。
